Magical Oct 4, 2014 Southern Caribbean

So exciting!! :cool1: Congrats for the big move and you are about to get some amazing Fl resident discounts:cheer2::cheer2:

Thanks. I forgot about the FL resident discounts. I like the sound of that! I wonder if I can apply the discount to this cruise? I'll have to check with my TA after I move down there. Thanks for the heads up!

you know your TA will be keeping an eye on those discounts & letting you know if they apply :) :upsidedow (and if I manage to get on this cruise, I'll be applying that discount to my room too hehehe).

Nothing figured out yet, but my pal Cheri & I have been plotting :rotfl:

I HAVE to go to Argentina to see my family in 2014, and some pals are coming along with me. We'll be going around Buenos Aires (where my family is), then heading to Iguazu Falls. Cheri & I had thought about staying an extra week & heading further south from Buenos Aires, to an area known for their wildlife (seals, penguins, whales - Puerto Madryn).

Cheri had moved a dummy res, to this cruise, so she's technically booked. We then talked that if the costs were comparable, we could do this cruise instead of the extra week in Argentina. Her decision really, since it'll be her first time to South America.

Tough to pass this cruise up though, since I have so many friends on board (my Disney parents, Angie & Dennis; my Disney god parents, Joanne & Wayne; MJ; Deb & John; Cork & Rich; Karl & Robin; PJ) PLUS I'd have one of the best roomies ever!! These would all be new ports for me, plus back on the Magic after dry dock.

Not signing up for anything now, though I've already started researching each port. Don't want to get my hopes up too high, just in case.

We would LOVE it if you and Cheri could work it out to come on this cruise with us!! Oh, and Karen and Ted are cruising with us too and Lisa and Darrell. Just add them to your list.

Mates, Cheri is our Champagne Girls mascot and her name is Sassy Bubbles. When we have a champagne girls event, Sassy comes dressed as a pink tink. It's really worth seeing. Unfortunately, with only one sea day....we will not be able to have a CG tasting on this cruise. So sorry. But I'm sure you will do a cruise in the near future and there will be a CG event on it. They are done by many people in their own way. You just need lots of sea days, but they are real fun!

Thanks Monica....also my TA....thanks for looking out for me. We will have to change my address with DCL in two weeks. What about my passport? I will have to look into that.

The cruise Samantha and I went on, most of the people were last minute Fl residents because the deal was so good for them. The WDW tickets alone are a huge benefit!! :goodvibes

I was just at lunch telling someone Peru, Cuba, Costa Rica, Thailand and Argentina are on my list of places to visit. My mom's best friend from grade school (diplomats daughter) lives there with her kids. My brother has stayed there in the past, but I have yet to get there. Maybe 2015..we'll see.

Hope you are able to work out your schedules :) You sound super fun :goodvibes

We will be looking for those great deals on cruises. AND we'll be annual passholders for the first time. I can't wait!

We are planning on going down a few days before the cruise. We were kinda looking at hotels. I was curious on if several other cruisers were doing this & if we could "reserve" a block of rooms for a cheaper rate.

I will probably fly in Wed or Thursday because airfare is less expensive those days.

I'll be coming in on Thur, giving us Friday and part of sat to tour PR. We also plan to fly out Sunday so we well have our disembark day to tour too:)

Just thought I would say Hi, My wife and I are booked on this cruise and it looks like its going to be a fun cruise. We plan on spending a couple days in San Juan before the cruise to explore the city as well

I just wish it was this October instead of next year!

:welcome: Aboard ! This cruise will be awesome ! Hoping the year goes by fast.

Thanks for the reassurance. :goodvibes I don't have many friends that love Disney like we do, so I don't have anyone to invite to go with us.

I can relate ! I have stopped talking to co-workers about DCL because they just don't get it. They think I am nuts. :rotfl2:

Good Morning Mates......I like the way that sounds.

Well we're finally finished packing out our house. YAY! The movers are coming tomorrow to look at everything and give us an estimate. Then they will schedule a date with us to move us around mid month. I can't believe we only have two more weeks and we'll be living near the mouse.

We got a big house even though it's just me and John because we know we will have lots of guests staying with us all the time. I'm so excited. I can't wait to start this new journey in our lives.

:cheer2: We are so happy for you & John. Hope everything goes well with the move. pixiedust:

My mom is 1 of 13 and my dad is 1 of 7 and my mom remarried so I have step family. Since I know all of my aunts and cousins, I constantly hear "You are going to Disney again."

But I did finally stop that with my mom. She kept going to the beach year after year and I finally said, "Me asking you why you go to the beach year after year is like you asking me why I go to Disney year after year." She stopped ;)

Wow that's a big family ! I can understand that Disney isn't for everyone. What I can't understand is that people who have never been on DCL can say the things they do. :confused3 I just don't say anything anymore and enjoy talking about it with people who enjoy it as much as us. :goodvibes

Good Morning Everyone ! We set sail in 516 days ! :cheer2::cool1: Today is Monday so here is the question for the week. What t.v shows do you watch ? :happytv:

My answer ; I tend to record more shows then I actually watch. :rotfl2:I like reality shows, Survivor, Amazing race. Our whole family watches The Walking Dead. Never thought I would watch a show like that but it is so well written !

We are Walking Dead fans too! Also love Duck Dynasty. We tend to watch more Netflix than regular tv.

Anyone watch the Disney shows on Destination America last weekend. I recorded the DCL one. It was a newer program than the ones I had seen before. Their website also had some disney clips but I haven't checked them out yet.

We are movie people too. My husband's "thing" is his dedicated home theate. He has started a business related to it, so I can't complain and I always get a front row seat at the theater.

Our favorite Tv shows are Big Bang Theory, NCIS, Person of Interest and Game of Thrones. Looking forward to summer shows True Blood and Royal Pains.

:thumbsup2 I have heard about Duck Dynasty but have never watched it.

I really wanted to see the show about DCL. We don't get that channel. :sad1:
I should add we like Modern family. I usually record it and we watch it later.

I'm pretty sure they put those Disney shows/commercials on just to feed my addiction ;)

I watched it over and over again because we recorded it and different family members were watching it at different times.

Other than that, I watch Amazing Race and Chopped on the cooking network. Cupcake wars as well. What is funny is I don't really like food :confused3 but I seem to enjoy those shows.
