Hi Todd! My husband and I will also be running the Dumbo Double Dare with you! :thumbsup2

That sounds awesome! My mantra for the trip is:
Four medals. Three races. Two days. One Todd.

Still trying to decide if I should go to DL/DCA or take advantage of my AP that will get me in at Knott's Berry Farms. (I know its a tough call with this crowd....)

Same mantra here, But only two races for 4 medals, 10k/ DL/ C2C/ Dumbo.

I still need to book a hotel and since I have been at WDW for three of the last 4 weeks, I seem to have lost out on the chance for a DL hotel, fingers crossed one of the groups can slip me in, if not it will be off site for me.

I was SO glad I had booked a hotel for the nights before I was even registered! :lmao: I went with the cheapest one I could find since I was going to be going solo, which ended up being the best western right across the street oddly enough - and was surprised when my husband said he was joining me after all weeks after it sold out, the sneak! :goodvibes

We used to always stay at the Paradise Pier, even back when it was a different hotel, but they are just so spendy now we can't justify it, especially when the walk over is shorter from the motels on the other side. You will still find me at the DLH daily - I just can't say no to Trader Sam's! :cloud9:

I might be staying at PPH, depends if the last room opens up. If not I am scouting GN hotels, just never been so a little unsure. MrsMork gave me good tips I just didn't get to them in time, sigh...

Oh alas... it is way easier to stay "offsite" at DL, thats for sure, but PPH is very close to the start line. You aren't going wrong either way, trust me! :goodvibes Are you and Todd both traveling alone..? I kinda sorta want to try a solo trip sometime (maybe I didn't mind the idea of doing this one solo after all?) but can't decide if WDW or DL would be better for it... :scratchin

Yup solo. I've only stayed off site at DLR. Twice at the Quality Inn on Manchester (reminiscent of Port Orleans in architecture) for the DL½ and the Tink ½ and once at the Tropicana for the opening of Cars Land. Sooo much easier to walk to the parks. Haven't given my TA a firm yes to book anything yet, still wavering.

I am staying solo, meeting up with both my FB running club and fellow Princesses and Canadian running mates, my it will be a busy weekend.

Hi all! Booked this sailing when it opened. We are in a sideways 11B. I'll be gold at the time of this sailing. Can't wait. The next 500 and some odd days are going to drag.

Welcome Todd!:grouphug:

I like your whole signature thingy you have going on!!! Especially the smiley face that is yodeling:thumbsup2:)

Update trying to book this weekend fingers crossed.. Also update on my health, seeing a acupuncturist on Thursday (tomorrow) hope this helps my leg pain and I will be ok. Still have the same room reserved so fingers crossed we can book this weekend.

Have a great day!!
Dawn

Hi Dawn, How are you feeling? I hope you are well!!! Were you able to book this cruuise yet? I hope you will be able to join us:)

Ok so where did my southern sailing friends go??? :confused3 Anyone....(looks over in the corner) Oh "Hi Robin,:yay: U'r here!!!" (looks around & sees no-one else) "Hello? , Hello?, anyone out there?":rolleyes1

I am here! Work has been dragging lately... I am thinking there is NOTHING that would make me give this cruise up, lol! :boat:

I'm here:-) sorry so quiet. I'm actively planning my Aulani/North Shore Hawaii trip which is less then a month away now, and also a July Disneyland trip:-)

It was also just my DD 8th bday, my anniversary coming up, Easter and also my DS bday all before Hawaii!

too much going on!! Lol

Wow! You are quite busy!!!:scared1::)

Just stopping in to say hi! My DH and I just completed our first Disney cruise and needless to say we were HOOKED! We quickly realized that 4 days on the boat was not nearly enough. So we ran home to look for sailings in 2014. After discovering that it is cheaper for us to fly to San Juan than Orlando the decision was a no brainer! So here I am, joining you all on the 10/4 sailing! Why must it be so far away!!

Welcome Jaime!!!:wave2: I think we are a great bunch. Right now not as many kids as I thought would be onboard but I am sure that will change!
