What are they? Disney's site doesn't explain! Only notes rides that use devise!!!:yo-yo: This is me trying to plan this trip!

They are battery powered pins that when on interact with certain attractions. They are fairly large (larger than the usual pins) and somewhat heavy. They were about $15 when they first came out, but I've started to see them marked down now. One of the outlet stores had quite a few, I think the character corner at Lake Buena Vista outlets.

Hi,

All 3 of our kids had one and loved them!! They would light up at the certain moments, on rides and while viewing parades, fireworks, or even the fountain show at Epcot. They're alot of fun, but we found that by the end of the week, we would already have to replace the batteries (which can be purchased at any photo store).

Are they still selling them? I don't recall seeing them at the pin stations last month. They are no longer doing the "magical moments" theme, wasn't that for Walt's 100th?

DebbieB,
I saw them under Mickey's Hat at MGM when we were there 1-4 Nov. I was tempted to buy another one because they said they were "enhanced" and played two games (I think it was 2 games). The games were in addition to all the other stuff they do.

Maybe I'll break down and buy another one when we visit next month...

A tip is to take batteries out at night, since when batteries are in place, they are always on, therefore short battery life.
