Two years ago disney sold the magical light up pins that would be activated when you went by a ride or in a ride and during parades. Are those pins still being sold and if you still have one are they still active around the parades and rides?
I just saw them at the Disney Outlet store at the Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise (Ft. Lauderdale) FL for $1.99. I would bet that they are obsolete now. Anybody know for sure?
The magical pins were specially for the 100th birthday celebrations, so I'm guessing they don't sell them anymore. I was wondering myslf. Anyone else know?
We bought the ones for the 100 anniversary celebration and then bought another set the next year that were not for the 100th anniversary - they were different and did not say 100th anniversary. I did not check to see if they are still selling them in December when we went, but we did take our old ones and they still work in the parks and with the parades. You get two sets of batteries with them. When we go back, we just go to Wal Mart and get new batteries and then replace them when we get to the resort. They worked great!
And by the way, if you saw them that cheap at an outlet store, get them! We paid 10 times that much at WDW.
I bought one on my last trip in October 03, there didn't seem to be any shortage of them. Gosh - October 03 sounds so long ago... my WDW info is being outdated! I need to go back soon!
