Is Magical Gatherings still being promoted? Do they offer any special discounts for such groups? We will be traveing with six adults and two children. The plan is to stay at a moderate resort (three rooms) and if necessary, one person is planning on buying an AP to get the 'good' prices!

Is Magical Gatherings still being promoted? Do they offer any special discounts for such groups? We will be traveing with six adults and two children. The plan is to stay at a moderate resort (three rooms) and if necessary, one person is planning on buying an AP to get the 'good' prices!

1. Yes, its being promoted, but not nearly as much as Magic Your Way.

2. Group discounts don't kick in until you can guarantee 10 rooms.

You 2 kids need to be age 3 or over to make it a Magical Gathering of 8.

The biggest perk is the availability of the Grand Gathering experiences - they also almost guarantee that your rooms will be next to each other.

Oh, we don't qualify then. One child will be 4 at the time of the trip, but the other will only be 11 months.
