Magical Gatherings planner software

Has anyone yet made this work completely? I am SO frustrated! I have people who aren't exactly at my Disney excitement level and I think this thing may help IF it will ever work!

The part I really want to work - My Favorites and Group Favorites - is the only part that doesn't work!

To bring you up to speed in case you are going ,"huh?" at the above...at the disneyworld.com site you can login and select rides, shows, restaurants, etc and save them as My Favorites. Then this Magical Gatherings software is supposed to show it on your planner when you login. It doesn't. This is where I think if my relatives could click on the different rides and such and see how cool it is, they would totally be closer to my excitement level. (Not exactly on a par...my Disney addiction is so bad I need a 12 step program like I'd use it though)

I even e-mailed their tech support. What a joke. They told me to read the FAQ on selecting My Favorites. They didn't even read my e-mail to see that wasn't my problem. The problem was I selected the dang things - which do show up on the website by the way - and they don't show up in the MG planner.

Okay, got that off my chest...feel a little better.

But has anyone had any luck with this? And if so, any chance you can send your pixie dust my way to make it work?

It's working for us. I assume that you're viewing the WDW site through the MG software window, and you are logged in seperately to the WDW web site?

BTW, it's also very funny the words that the chat feature within the MG censors!

Yes! I am logged in at both places. However, I am wondering if my user name is what's messing us up. I have a user name prior to the new website. For new users, they use your e-mail address as your user name if they sign up. My user name is just something I made up back when you could do that.

So I am wondering if I need to sign up as my e-mail address and totally try again and see if that works.

If you have any ideas, please tell me. Tech Support is silent still.

That sounds like a logical thing to try. For some reason the MG software and the web site are having problems linking you.

Exactly! I am registering again and hopefully I can find a solution.

I can't believe it but it worked. I have to recreate everything, but now it all shows up just because I used my e-mail address as my user name.
