Magical Gatherings Planner - AGAIN

About a week ago, I posted about a problem with the Magical Gatherings Planner. Then, it suddenly fixed itself for a few days. Now, none of the favorites are showing up. IMO, the planner is useless. Has anyone been successful in getting it to work?

I spent all night e-mailing everyone and setting up schedule. Then today I click on the icon and get nothing. I e-mailed disney but no responded to this. should I forget about this planner

I tried downloading it several times and nothing works. It is useless. I emailed disney about this and nothing they helped me with has worked.

I spoke with Disney web wruters today. If you use Windows XP (Home or Pro) the planner won't work. They are trying to remedy this problem and they don't know why it isn't compatible. They will send the DVD which they say is compatible to all who ask.

I used the planner and the CM for my "Magical Gathering" in May. My planner worked better than anything else!! Everytime I called, they had always lost the MG number, had to transfer my call the correct Dept. then would inform me that my party of 9 was too small and group dinning was for party's of 13 or more. Every time I would tell them my MG number, and that there where 9 of us! Made me nuts, then, the best part was, when I finally gave up, called to make my PS on my own and not go through MG, they would always tell me how great it was and how I should really consider going through them! uhhhhhhh NO! I will say it's just easier to do your own planning and just request things as you need them, such as make your PS through regular dinning, your resort rooms just ask them to be in the same building or whatever!
Oh as far as the planner, I got it to work but no one in my group participated except my daughter and my husband!

I have posted my MG experiences several times but we were one of the first groups at the first of the year and I can't tell you how frustrated I was. From downloading the planner all the way through the rest of the experience. We are DVC members and they at first attributed some of the issues to the fact that my room was done through DVC and it was challenging to connect that ressie with my MG activities. In the end, it was almost ridiculous how much time I spent on the phone for my group of 12. I did end up writing a note about my experienc to guest services before we left and they did a dessert buffet and special Illuminations viewing for our group only as their way of apologizing. We have a group going again in December but I won't be doing a MG again.
