Magical Gatherings????Help please.

I just found out that even though I am staying at SoG I can participate in the Magical Gatherings. There will be 24 of us. Ten children, two youth, and twelve adults. Has anyone else used this service? Is it worth it? Will they set up dining ressies? I really want to make this trip special for the newbies as well as the WDW pros. Thank you

While we did not use their MG service (we use Sue Ellen from Dreams), we did do two MG events--Fireworks cruise and the AK dinner sarfari. Both were great and worth every penny.

I got my magical gathering postcard and it said"we can do it all for you" WELL at 5:58am my husband is on one cell phone I on another and we are also using a land line in hopes of Cinderella Castle for all of our little Princesses and Princeses...I got through to the lovely Magical gathering specialist and I was told I'm sorry you have to go through GROUP DINNING! I was transfered and put on hold.Needless to say I did not get Cindy's THAT DAY,but if at first you don't get Cindy's Call Call again I called back at a not so busy time and I was told if a party is over 12 it has to go through group dinning MG or not. They have been very helpful in working with me to plan our big family celebration.We are doing the wishes cruise and I can't wait! I say utilize any bit of help available.Just don't plan on them making AR for Cindy's for you group have a plan B GROUP DINNING!

It is nice if you are interested in attending any of the MG events. I highly recommend the Magical Fireworks Cruise. However, like the previous poster stated you are still going to be the one up and calling to make your ADR's into group dining. It isn't a conceirge service where you will make your requests and they take care of everything for you.
