"Magical" fireworks

I've only seen fireworks in DL once, and it was RDCT, which I loved!! Now for our upcoming trip, Disney will showcase Magical fireworks (don't know the full name, the calendar keeps playing hide & seek with the daily schedule so I can't access to it.. again).
So anyway, how's Magical comparing with RDCT? As good?

I'm pretty sure that's an error with the calendar...they should still be showing RDCT, as they generally don't premier Magical until mid-June, when they roll out their summer stuff! We will also be there the first week of May, and the calendar is driving me crazy!!

It says "Magical - Disney Nightime Fireworks Spectacular".. and the calendar sometimes shows the hours, sometimes not, try with a different browser.

Yeah, I've tried several different methods, they don't seem to be showing the same hours twice!! As far as Magical goes, well, I saw it on the calendar, but last year they didn't roll out that show until June, when the crowds pick up, but maybe they're trying to debut it earlier?? Regardless, it's a good show, though I have to admit, I am a huge RDCT fan, so I will be a tad disappointed if it turns out to be a different fireworks show...

It's official, Magical will be shown on May 4th. I read it on the DIS, and it seems pretty cool!

Is there a way to find out which firework show was going on last June? I can't remember which one we saw, but I don't think it was Magical. Just not sure!

I think so, in the Park Hours section of the DIS, it has historical hours and you can see the entertainment that was shown on a specific day, if my memory doesn't fail me

I looked on the DIS park hours for last June--said Wishes. Is that the same as RDCT?

Wishes is at DW and RDCT is at DL. I don't know when Magical started last summer, but it featured Dumbo. I'm looking forward to seeing it again this summer.

Last June would have been Magical. It's been around since 2009.

Wishes is the fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom at WDW.

Indeed! It was on the News section. If you can't believe the DIS, who can you believe?
But I also saw it on the Disney calendar

I always forget the name of the ones I have seen, buut I am pretty sure I saw that one, it was good, there was only one I didn't care for....but anyways you can go on you tube and check um out people record them all the time
