I know this has been asked before but what do you do if you don't recieve your yellow luggage tags? We are heading out this Thursday, and although DH and I have our tags, our friends do not. We both booked through Dreams Unlimited and they recieved confirmation that they were signed up for ME, but still no luggage tags.

Also- how does your departing airport know not to put other tags over your yellow ones?

As for the friends without tags: We didn't get our tags until the day before our departure (May 8). My wofe went out and bought the brightest, most obnoxious ribbon she could find (orange with yellow polka dots). We tied a piece of ribbon onto each piece of checked luggage, and we had intended to bring a piece of ribbon with us to give to the CMs at the DME desk, to aid in their locating our bags on the baggage claim carousel. Your friends will need to go directly to the DME desk -- they will give a description of their luggage, and DME will pull it for them and have it delivered just like the rest of the DME bags.

As for your other question: Stickers are put on at the time you check in your luggage, either by the skycap (curbside) or ticket agent (inside counter). You see it happening. Just make sure they don't cover over your DME tag. They won't.
