I see and experience all ends of DME on a semi-daily basis. From what I've seen at both the airport and resorts, it will go well for those who know what to expect. It will not go well for those who want the personalized service of a towncar.
I've seen DME coaches make anywhere from 1 to 4 total stops. Because of reduced luggage, the stops are very quick. The stops are always either near each other, or on the way. Total drive time from airport to last stop on a 4-stopper (in my experience, at least) has averaged 60 minutes. Less time for an earlier stop. Those who do not like stops will be dissapointed. Those who don't mind a brief stop should be fine.
Luggage is a totally seperate beast in its own. Those who expect luggage to be IN thier room when they arrive to thier resort will be dissapointed. Luggage will typically arrive a bit later, since they have to find it, pull it, sort it, load it, and drive the same drive to the resorts. Because it leaves the airport later, it will arrive later. That's not to say that it will take hours upon hours, because most likely it won't.
