Magical Express?

Will the Magical Express bus transportation still be complimentary during the last two weeks of 2006?

I am trying to convince DH that we need to go back to WDW in 2006 (instead of 2007, thats when HE wants to go). I am telling him that we need to go before the free transporation ends!!!!

We ae trying this out during our trip this August. While making my reservations, I asked the CM about this. She said she did not know how long it will last. SHe said it was started for the 50th anniversary celebration.

After reading the Disney Shareholders Stock report tonight, the theme park sales and revenues are booming, while expenses are low. Meaning high profit. My sense, is that after the celebration is over, they will charge for this services (why not???), especially if they continue to tag and obtain your luggage. Does the other transportation services do this for you. I think they found an untapped market for themselves. Would you rather use their transportation services (esp if they are found reliable) or others, such as Mears?

Officially, Magical Express is complimentary through 2006. But it could remain complimentary longer than that.

If Magical Express meets Disney's business goals during the Celebration, then I believe Magical Express will continue to be complimentary in 2007 and beyond. Disney just isn't making any promises right now. So let's hope that Magical Express increases resort occupancy, keeps guests spending money on-site, and makes more money for Disney than it costs to operate the service. Then, this promising free service should be around for many years -- for free.
