Magical express

Does anyone know the rules if we take the magical express to a Disney resort- but the end of our trip we are off site. Can we go back to resort to take back to airport the day our flight is scheduled.
We would be leaving Disney resort on Wednesday or Thursday and going off site for 2-3 day. Fly home Saturday.

No. You are only eligible for Magical Express service during your Disney resort stay.

Not sure if you already traveled, but we had no problem doing this in 2017. We drove to visit family, and then got ourselves back to AoA where we caught the ME.
