No one is supposed to be eating or drinking on ME. I believe there are signs.

Besides what was already mentioned, the seats are cloth.

Even if their signs or not people don't always listen to posted signs or instructions plus if a guest eats peanuts before then sit on the seat the. You still have the opportunity to get sick. You still might want to clean the seats to be safe but as sue said their cloth so not sure how clean you get them.

So would getting a town car be safer?? As our trip gets closer I'm starting to worry about everything

I not trying to scare you out of using magical express it a good service that free. I not sure you could run into the same problem with the town car I think you be okay with cleaning te seat and arm rest also remember these buses are higher so they may have surfaces you can grab to help up so you my want to clean those just like the handle of the town car. Their hasn't been any report well at least not on here of anyone with peanut allergies getting a allergic reaction after riding magical express.

I would be more worried about the town car than the DME. at least the limo we had for grandsons MAS trips allowed food to be eaten as we traveled. not sure how much time between trips to clean after each trip.

I understand the potential seriousness, and I am not trying to add to your concerns, but I would probably be more concerned with the plane, school bus (if she is of school age), movie theaters, and day to day life. I would consult my family physician if you are that concerned.

People still eat and drink on the park buses. If they have a closed container, they are allowed to bring it on board. People bring their resort mugs on the bus all the time. Kids are sitting on parents' laps eating poptarts and granola bars, etc.

For the ME, bring a fitted sheet or towel to put over the bus seat, preferably a different one than you used on the plane.

Probably. We all tend to get nervous with the unknown :)

I think you'll be fine just doing what you normally do.

Just because you've never been and it was a big topic when Fantasyland first opened - there are FAKE peanuts/peanut shells imbedded into the concrete around the circus area. They're totally fake. I know a lot of peanut allergy people were worried their kids would think they were real and get nervous!

Ok thanks for the tip!!

I don't know that much about allergies, but Amazon sells airline seat covers that also fit the ME bus. I've used them to keep my daughters Convaid chair from getting dirty. The top and bottom are elasticized. Sending prayers for the trip to make many wonderful memories.

I don't know that I have been on a bus to the park where someone wasn't eating. In the morning people are eating breakfast and in the evening a snack to keep the kids awake. The ONLY time I have seen a driver say anything is when some one tries to get on the bus with an uncovered drink. They pack people on the bus and people do eat.

In October I saw people eating to and from the airport on the bus. One kid had a gigantic ice cream sundae complete with hot fudge and peanuts. It was bigger then the kid's head so I'm sure the bus driver saw him board with it. The way back to the airport a family has stopped in captain cooks and bought what looked like sandwiches and were eating those beside is. Those smelled so good I'd wished I had gotten some. They may say food isn't allowed but this is what I saw.
