We have booked the Magical Express but already have transfers with Virgin included, what should we do email them and tell them (have heard that they could charge us) or tell them when we arrive at MCO?

Were the same, from what I have read I think it is best to email the VH concierge and let them know so they are not waiting for you at the airport!

You won't get charged and avoid the vh call centre!:rotfl:

Ahh never thought of emailing the concierge:rolleyes1:rotfl2: Thanks:cool1:

I just nipped to tell them at the Virgin desk as it was close to where we collected our cases (the 2nd time)

To be honest though we seemed to wait ages for the Magic Express bus to leave the airport as they wait for a decent amount of passengers before setting off and perhaps we'd just missed one?

Virgin only wait for the passengers arriving on your flight - the Magic Express serves everyone flying in from everywhere. We were on the later flight and really tired so desperate to get to the resort.

Next year we're on the early flight but we have said that if we use the later flight again we will use the virgin transfer.

We used the Virgin transfer, dont remember them ticking names off or anything?

I booked a virgin transfer as they did not inform me I could use magical express ( i did ask them but they way they answered made it sound like a no ) I had to pay for the transfer as we are also hiring a car but not picking it up until the next day.
I have been reading a few other forums and people say the virgin transfer takes forever so might use magical express anyway.
Does anyone know which is better ?

We did the virgin transfer a few weeks ago and I thought it was great. Not sure if it took longer than it should do? (as I have nothing to compare it to - think everything does when you're that tired ) but we were last on the drop offs so it did seem to take forever - I think it was an hour and half from airport to hotel room. Couldn't fault it any other way though - driver was a very nice man, we had cartoons on the telly and a very pleasant coach trip :goodvibes

We really enjoyed it as well, cant remember how long it took, we stopped at one off site hotel and then one Disney hotel before ours, it was nice to see them tbh. The driver was so much fun, telling us loads about the parks and food and wine which was just about to start. Think he used to work for Disney? but he was great.

will probably stick with the virgin transfers then as I have paid for them now :)
