Sorry for all the newbie questions, we just bought in.

We normally drive down, but we ARE considering flying for our trip next June. Do DVC members staying on points qualify for the magic express(even if we had to pay for it) Or do we have to find our own transpertation? Thanks

We don't pay for ME! It's a great service, I think. Our guests have often used it, we all come from different home airports.

I usually book for them on line via the DVC members site. Just have flight info handy and ressie number with dates.

As a DVC member, can you use ME for stays at the Disney hotels as well or is it only for stays at the DVC resorts?

I believe ME is available for any Walt Disney Resort hotel guest. We used the service (booked through MS) and had no problem and it was free! I just wish the signage was more clear when you get off your plane and try to find the ME desk. Then again, I am so directionally challenged, it isn't funny and yes I had the directions from the ME packet right in front of me and still had to ask for directions! At least now I know where the desk is located for all our trips in the future.

great! That is good to know that we do not have to make other arrangments to get to the resort! Thanks!!!!

Any WDW resort guest can use ME.

I think the new agreement with OIA allows ME to have representatives up by the planes where passengers are deboarding. This should make it easier.

Make sure you call Member Services and tell them your planning on using ME. They will need to get your flight info. and send you luggage tags. I've used ME for two trips - in Jan. it was confusing to find the check-in counter, last month they did have someone when you deboarded directing you. I went with two friends and we each had our own carry-on with our swimsuits and whatever we would need for that day.

We did tip the driver, but that's entirely at your discretion.
Have fun! :goodvibes

as a DVC memeber staying on site you get ME.... it took 2 weeks for them to send me the "info pack" and special yellow luggage tags.

We used it the last 5 trips. It's been great using it.

We have used ME twice and plan on using it again in December. :thumbsup2 What a way to travel!! Just make sure you have what you might need immediately in your carry on (i.e. if you plan on swimming then pack your swimsuit in your carry on). It took about 4 hours to get our luggage this last time - no big deal for us because we are usually out the door as soon as we get our room.

It just gets better and better. :mickeyjum :donald: :goofy: :tigger: :stitch:
