Magical Express...What other resorts share bus with Coronado Springs?

Could someone please tell me what other resorts share the same ME bus with Coronado Springs? The reason I ask is, some of our family just booked the bounceback for Sept 2013 at Coronado Springs. We are hoping to book the same travel time/bounceback next month, but we are not really wanting to stay at Coronado and might prefer another hotel , possibly on the same bus route. Thank you for your help!:thumbsup2

The last time we stayed at the Boardwalk, we shared an ME bus with Coronado. However, I don't think it always works out that way. I think it depends on how many guests need to be transported and where.

:thumbsup2 Yup. You can guess, you can even look at past history, but there's no way to tell for sure.

OP here! Maybe I am confused a tad. Just because the bus stop has more than one resort listed, that doesn't mean they all share the same bus, right?

If you are using Magical Express, there are times when several resorts will share the same bus. For normal Walt Disney World bus transportation, it depends on where you are staying. You could share a bus with neighboring resorts. For example, the Boardwalk sometimes shares a bus with the Swan and Dolphin.

I hope that clears up your question.

Not sure where the OP is seeing the busses listed but it is true that the routes are different all the time. It just depends on how many people are going to what resorts at the same time you are there. Mears (the operator of the ME busses) will obviously try to group nearby resorts onto the same bus. Nobody can tell you now if you will be on a bus with any specific other resorts.

I'm also not understanding the "same bus route" part of the question. Is there a particular reason you want to follow a particular route to get to your resort? Even if there is, there's no guarantee the bus driver will go the same way since it just depends on which way the driver prefers to go from WDW and which resort passengers they load on that bus.

When you get to the bus lines, at MCO, for DME, you will be directed to the line that is appropriate for your resort. If you are staying at CSR, that's the line you get in. If you're staying at CBR, you get in the CBR line.
BUT...several resorts will be put on the same bus...so you could be on a bus that makes a stop at CSR, you may not.
The resorts combined on any given route change...and that can be on the same day. Just because Pop, CSR and AKL share a DME bus today, doesn't mean they will tomorrow.
I have taken the DME to BWV on many occasions....the other resorts combined with it have changed from trip to trip.

I remember when staying at AKV Kidani a friend came in later on DME. She said they stopped at Coronado first, then AKL Jambo, then AKV Kidani. I stayed at BWV in April, we stopped at POR first. So it really depends on the demand at the time you get there.

OP, are you confusing DME (transportation to/from the airport) with Disney Busses (transportation between parks & resorts)?

I 'think' that the OP is heading to WDW, with another party. That party has booked CSR again, the OP doesn't want to stay there again. But they would all like to travel to the resort, from MCO, together, so wants to know what other resorts are on the same route, so they can travel together.

If it's the parks they are talking about, then it's a whole different kettle of fish. CSR doesn't share a park bus with other resorts.

I've stayed at the Coronado several times, and the bus always went to the All Stars Resorts as well. The driver stopped at the Coronado first each time.

I have CSR been on the same route when I have stayed at the All Stars. That bus also went to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. However, no route for the ME buses is set in stone. It just depends on how many people are going to each resort that day at a certain time. However if you want to give it a shot the safer bets are any of the All Star resorts, and maybe AKL.

I see on another post the OP is asking about room locations at POR. OP it is highly unlikely that POR will be on the same Magical Express bus route as CSR.

I arrive the Saturday after Thanksgiving since 2000 at POR and have never been on the same route.

thats exactly what happened when we stayed at coronado last year. we were dropped off first and shared the bus with people going to the all-stars.
