Magical Express to the Poly?

Could anyone tell me about their experience taking the Magical Express and staying at the Poly?
We're trying to decide between the Magical Express and a car service.

Disney's Magical Express service doesn't really differ among resorts.

DME has been very very successful and has a lot of fans (like me). Roughly 5 million people have used DME so far. From what we read on the DISboards, there are incredibly few negative experiences, and an overwhelming majority of positive experiences. Truly, the "negatives" we read aren't actual negative experiences, but rather are either anxieties about the unknown from people who are concerned about trying it for the first time, or are the result of unrealistic expectations (people mistakenly thinking DME provided services that it doesn't provide).

So I love DME, as do many others, but it's not for everybody ....

DME is a shared ride on a motorcoach, and it's free. A car service gives you private, personalized service, for roughly $120 or so. They'll both tend to get you to your resort in about the same amount of time.

Both work just fine ... choose on the level of service you want and how much you are willing to pay for it.

we took dme to the poly and it was pretty good. just took a while to get a bus and then fill the bus w/others going to poly, grand floridian, contemp, and wilderness lodge. poly was the first stop though, so that was nice. and going back, we got picked up second to last (right before GF), so the ride wasn't really long. we got to sit right up front on the way to the poly and were the first off the bus to check in. don't think too many got off after us, so even if you weren't first, you were close to checking in. i really liked the convenience of them handling my bags and just not having to worry about anything. i'm going to use it again in feb, but this time at POP, which i'm sure will be a bit more of a hassle
