Magical Express to MK, bypass resort??

We are flying in at 6:20pm and have 1st FP window at MK 7:30-8:30. We are using ME from MCO. Is it possible to take ME to GF then mono to MK, we are staying at the BC and want to bypass because it would add an extra 40 minutes.

I don't think there's any way you could make that fast pass.

You will be assigned to a bus that goes to your resort. You cannot get on another bus.

However if your bus makes more than one stop, you can get off at the first one and get a bus or Uber/Lyft from there.

Unfortunately no. If you use DME, you're required to go to the resort where you're reservation is booked.

Thank you for your replies, I did not think We would make that fast pass, best option is to change time. We've used ME several times and I know we have always taken the bus straight to our resort first.

I know when I stayed at BC last time, the bus stopped at CBR and BWI before going to BC. You could get off at CBR and then take an MK bus from there. You won't make the FP time, but it would get you to MK without having to go to BC first.

I agree that the FP time should be changed. Magical Express can be a very slow process. Last time I stayed at YC, we waited for a Magical Express bus for about 15 minutes. Once on the bus, we waited another 30 min or so to leave the airport, and YC was not the first stop. Last time I stayed at SSR, same thing. We got on the bus quickly but waited for it to fill for quite some time before departing. Our flight landed around 8:45 pm and it was 11:00 pm by the time we got to our resort. I am seriously considering taking a taxi to the resort this time because late nights are difficult for my toddler son and ME, while a wonderful service, makes them much later.

Another potential windfall for Disney though here....offer a "premium DME" option that takes guests from the airport directly to the parks....chaaa chinnnng!!!

Even if I had a rental car I wouldn't anticipate making that FP time. I might, but there are too many spots where delays could happen.

Just Uber from the airport, its SO much faster, you'll have to time to Uber to BC, throw your stuff with bell services, and then go back out and have the same Uber (don't bother getting a second one, just have one party member get out and leave your stuff) and then have Uber drop you at CR. It'll take less than an hour to get to MK. You might not arrive at BC in an hour with ME. I've used it ONCE. I value my time too much for a repeat.
