Has anyone who has camped at the Fort ever used Magical Express? My parents are going to be down for a few months and I am planning to take my daughter, neice, and nephew to visit Grandma & Papa over February Break. Rather than make my parents drice to the airport, I thought we would do ME. I have used it numerous times when staying at POP, but am curious about using it for the Fort. According to WDW website, they do taake campsite guests on ME. Where does the bus let you off? Any commentsa appreciated. Thanks! :mickeyjum

ME drops (and picks up) you and your luggage directly in front of the building that houses the resort front desk...the bus stop is perhaps 20 steps to the front door. When you are checking in be sure to ask the CM for transportation to your campsite or cabin.

Note: the lobby isn't overly roomy, so you might want to designate 1 person (or 1 person for each reservation) to check in the rest of your group.

Hope this helps

Thanks for asking this question.
My oldest daughter is driving down with us to the Fort but will be flying back as she only has a week break from university (in October) when we are going....
Is it possible to take ME just one way???
Would save us driving her over to the airport...

Yes, you can take ME just one way. We have only used it to go to the airport from The Fort. From what I remember, we called a day before and told them our flight information and they told us when they would be picking us up. They take care of the luggage check in so you don't have to do anything. I'm not sure how to arrange ME from the airport to The Fort, but I'm sure someone on the boards does.

Yes, it shouldn't be a problem. I've flown in several times and used to the ME to FW, and then drove back home with my parents in the RV. The ME info is linked to your flight #, so as long as your daughter knows her return flight it should be fine

You can also ride with your daughter on the ME and see her off (and then return to Fort Wilderness). Ask the CMs at the Outpost to write you a 2 way pass for the ME. I've done this several times...I just feel better seeing them off from the Airport and knowing they are safely on their way.

My wife uses ME each time, as I drive down and set up while she gets in one more day of work, it is a great option when staying on grounds. I know you can get it for round trip and only use it one way. So, you should not have a problem using it at all. :thumbsup2

Fantastic!!! Thank you for telling me this. She is almost 20 but it will be her first time flying alone, so this is a fabulous option!!

I'm guessing your parents will be at FW for a few months, if so are you listed on the ressie at FW?

We are listed on the ressie just for the time that we are going to be down there.
