Hi everyone! We arrive on May 27, staying at POR and are so excited. We are flying into MCO and taking the Magical Express to POR. Our flight lands at 2:00 pm. Assuming my flight isn't delayed, is it reasonable to think that 3 hours should be enough time from the time we land to arriving at our resort? We ordered grocery delivery from Safeway and chose a delivery window from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We need to be present for delivery since our order includes alcohol. We'd rather not make the delivery window later if we don't have to as we are planning to go to Star Wars Galactic Nights at DHS which starts at 7:00 pm. If we aren't likely to be there in time though, we can always push it back an hour and be late to the party. Opinions? TIA.

Typical time from getting off the plane to resort check in is approx. 90 minutes. Could be faster, could be slower, most of our several times at WDW the past few years have been just around the 90 minute mark when we were the last resort stop, a couple of times less than that, one was much longer when a new ME driver got lost. Resort stop order is not fixed, depends on what resorts people are booked into who are on your particular bus and how many people have luggage under the bus too. 90 minutes seems to be the norm, so allowing 3 hours should be OK.

We had one really long ride - we got to poly 2.5 hours after we landed. We only went to the restroom on the way to the ME counter and the line wasn't long. Of all our trips, that was by far our worst.

Long winded way of saying I think 3 hours is plenty of time.

We've had anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 1/2 hours so 3 hours should be fine. But if you haven't placed your order yet we have never needed to be there with alcohol orders for Garden Grocer or Orlando Grocery Express. We just sent them a copy of our driver's license.

Thanks for the replies!

I did look into Garden Grocer and saw that you don't need to be present for delivery. The downside to them is that they are quite a bit more expensive than Safeway. Safeway's prices seemed to be pretty standard, not marked up like GG and they had a coupon for free delivery. I've never heard of Orlando Grocery Express, are their prices good?
