Does anyone know what time the earliest Magical express goes to the airport from the resort hotels? I have a 7:30am International flight so that means we have to be at the airport between 5:30am and 6 am for checkin. Is the bus available that early? Or should I plan on using a car service?:confused3

You may way to ask in the resorts board...

Also international flights is at least 2 hours before and ME requires a 3 hour minimum. That said, I don't think you'll have a 4:30am pickup.

Magical Express isn't a set scheduled shuttle. You need to let your resort know what time your flight is, so they can set up the trip.

As PP noted, they run as needed.

More people need 4am pickups than you might think. We had a 6:50am flight last trip, and had to be out for the ME pickup before 4am. The bus was full by the time it made the third resort pickup. So don't worry about early mornings if using Magical Express from the resorts. As long as you let them know your flight info, the bus will be there. Its wonderful.

(as opposed to early flights from home, where I can't get to the airport on public transportation if the flight is before 7am, and am stuck with a taxi...)

Thanks for the quick replys. It will be a relief if I dont have to spend anymore money. Coming all the way from Japan...WDW. DCL.and Delta are already costing me an arm and a leg and a few toes and after the cruise possibly a liver.
Airplane tickets alone are 1700$ per person and we are a group of 6

Yeah, we had a 3:30 am pickup a few years ago. That was not a lot of fun.

To the OP, I think the general rule is they will pick you up about 4 hours before your flight if it is international. That means you should plan on leaving the resort around 3:30 am.

Respectfully, no. This thread doesn't appear to have been moved here from anywhere, so I'm going to guess it originated correctly on the Transportation Board.

Magical Express will most assuredly be available to take the OP's party to MCO in time for their departure flight; they simply need to make the reservation.

A guest tells ME what time their scheduled flight is, not the resort.

The bus will be scheduled for you as needed, about 3:30 AM.

Ah, the happy faces coming off the park buses following late late extra magic hours meeting the sad faces coming out to the Magical Express platform.

You might prefer to book your last hotel night near the airport, check out of your Disney's resort the day before, and take DME the night before.

Actually, it was tranferred here from the Cruise Line forum. But correct that the Transportation forum is better suited.

OP, ME runs 24 hours 7 days per week. Just let them know your flight information, including that it's an international flight, and you'll be scheduled for an appropriate pick-up time.

Enjoy your land and sea vacation!
