Hi Disboarders (is that what we are called)

I am going this may with my DD (9 1/2), just a Daddy Princess trip :cool1:.

I have been to WDW many times but have never used Magical Express, this time I figured it would be a good idea to use it and save a few $$$.

We are staying at Art of Animation while we are there.

Just a few question regarding Magical Express I hope you can answer.

First, How long will it take from when we get to the bus to get to our resort, will it be more than an hour?

Also, how long will it take for us to get our luggage delivered to our room if we have them get the luggage and we just go straight to the bus?

Thanks in Advance.

Nathan

Thirty to sixty minutes, depending how many stops your bus makes and which stop AoA is.There are no set routes before you ask :).

Up to three hours after you check in and your room is ready. Always always always always pack what you need for the first 24 hours in carry-on luggage.

Also, if you arriving after 10pm, you must collect your luggage from the carousel and take it to the bus (do not use the DME yellow luggage tags)

We are getting in around 9am, Im assuming I should be ok

Getting in at that time I recommend the following.

The first is to dress for park touring before leaving home. Check almost everything you don't need for park touring and have ME deliver to the room. If you will need to bring a change of clothes due to the weather difference between home and WDW, put it in a backpack and take as carry on. When you get to your resort, your room may be ready or not. If the room is ready, drop carry-ons in the room and change if needed then head to the parks. If room is not ready, if needed change in the rest room or pool bathrooms then leave the carry-on with bell services and head to the parks.

As PP said, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS carry what you need for the first 24 hours in your carry on. This has nothing to do with Disney, and everything to do with the possibility of the airlines "misdirecting" your luggage.
