I have the ME luggage tags. Do we need to still put on the regular SW luggage tags as well?

If you mean the ones they put on at the airport - yes.
The SW ones tell the handlers which plane to put the luggage on and the ME ones tell the luggage handlers at Orlando to set the bags aside to be transported to your resort.

Just a footnote to this. Southwest is now part of the group of airlines that pick up your bags placed in the hallway the last night of a Disney cruise and transport them to your final destination. They were one of the last to come onboard for this. I think them buying Air Tran help this along....smjj

I had a post on here about a month ago. I complained to SW about not being part of this great program. They responded with nice letter(e-mail) stating they were joining this program and were still working out the final details. We are cruising in Sept. and I assume they will be up and running by then..smjj
