Magical Express was wonderful!!!

I placed my yellow tag on my one bag. I checked it with my home airport and had no carry ons.

I took the transportation voucher out of the ME booklet and stuck it in my wallet and put the rest of the ME booklet in my suitcase in case I needed it to refer to later.

When I arrived at MCO, I stopped at the Earport Disney Store to purchase my annual pass, which actually took a bit. I looked at both registers and picked the one with the shortest line, and somebody had a difficult transaction in front of me. When I got to the line and said I need an annual pass they said I need to go to the other register.

Anywho, I waited in that line and finally got my pass, and headed to level 1 for Magical Express.

There was noone in line and I gave them my ticket and they stamped it and I walked right onto a bus. There were about 15 people on board and one family said they had been on board about 20 minutes.

We pulled away right after I boarded. The arrival video played perfectly and was kind of cute. They had it timed well. It ended about the time we drove under the Disney entranceway.

I was at Pop Century and was the first stop. I think the family that had been sitting there for a bit were a bit peeved.

From wheels down to Pop Century was right at 1 hour and I stopped in the restroom, the Disney Store, and outside for a smoke before checking in with Magical Express.

When I arrived in my room after the 1:00 am Comedy Warehouse show, my bag was waiting in my room.

The day before checkout, I dropped back by the room to drop off some purchases and change shirts, and my Magical Express info was on the door. They had me scheduled for an 11:45 pickup for my 2:45 flight.

I called Luggage Assistance and told them I needed my bag picked up any time after 7am and they asked me what time my Coach pickup time was. I was flying Southwest, so I couldn't use Resort Airline Checkin.

On departure day, I left my packed bag by the window with a tip and left for breakfast and the parks. I arrived back at Pop Century about 11:20 and retrieved my bag from Bell Services and the ME bus showed up about 11:40.

We went straight to MCO. I don't know if anyone was already on the bus because I actually ran into the restroom and the bus was there was I came back out. There were only about 10 folks on the bus.

The departure video froze shortly after we departed, and the driver hit a button, and we got the arrival video again. Then it switched over to something about the Chronicles of Narnia.

It only took 40 minutes to get back to the airport and security lines were 5 minutes, so I had 2 hours to kill at MCO. I know there is no way of telling how security or traffic is going to be.

Wow, so glad it worked so well for you. We will use ME for the first time Jan 3rd. It is comforting to read such great reviews. I am feeling much better.
Thx :cool1:

Thanks for the detailed review! Since SWA is not a particpating airline, I know you have to check your own bags. I usually find curbside to be much faster, but this is not going to work with the Motorcoach. Did you have the resort print out your boarding pass? How were the lines to check your luggage?

Many Thanks!

While I was at Beach Club Sunday morning waiting on my seating for breakfast, I dropped by their "Front Desk Concierge" and they printed my boarding pass. I got an "A" Boarding Pass.

From what I have read, any resort "Front Desk Concierge" can do this for you.

The lines at Pop Century always seemed to be long, and no one was in line at Beach Club.

When I arrived at MCO, I had to walk up to the 2nd level and went to the express kiosk and keyed in my Rewards # and got my luggage tag. I then walked my bag over to the TSA folks near the X-Ray machine and handed my bag to them.

No wait for either.

We just got back as well same thing all was great BUT

Had brand new luggage and 6" rip down the 1 side ME says it was most likely the SWA and SWA says it was most likely ME.Then ME says it's normal wear & tear .

SWA also says this is common and because we didn't bring it to there attention at the airport when it occured (couldn't because ME picks up ) .
Waiting to here back from Disney and ME on getting the rip fixed if it wasn't new wouldn't care.

So I will look for a small peice of plastic some ribbets and a nice iron-on patch maybe something Disney .

This is normal stuff that happens and will NOT stop me from using ME in June when I go back I would just like some ownership or something in place like a check and record at the airport I could take to the airline.

TMT -
I'm no expert in this area, but I have a hard time believing ME caused the tear. There is a compex network of conveyors used in airports that subject
luggage to a variety of blemishes, not to mention the rough handling from
plane to cart and vice/versa. In my years of travel and layovers at CVG and ATL, on many occasions I have seen luggage fall off of erratic moving carts.
JMO, with little else to go on!

Yes I agree and thats why not making that big of a deal ( didn't try to step on toes or go over anyone head). But watching our bus driver just throw bags under the bus on return trip made me wonder .I just think if they are taking on the responsibility of picking up the bags and they have the same terms & conditions of the carriers then they are taking that on.
Why have a loss and liability policy and not just have us sign a waiver waiving them of their rights.
