Magical Express Question

We are going for a quick trip in June. Usually we don't do the parks on the travel day but since this is a short trip we are heading to EPCOT. If you have your bags go directly to the resort, can you get on a different Magical Express bus? We are staying at Wilderness but would like to take a Boardwalk or Beach Club bus and walk into EPCOT.

Has anyone done this before?

You can only get on the bus going to your resort, but there is nothing stopping you from hopping off at the first stop and getting on a bus to EPCOT. You would have to take your carry ons with you though.

If you ask very nicely when you arrive at the ME checkin they might let you get on a different bus. On my last stay I was staying at Poly but my sister was a BCV and I asked if I could go with her to help with her kids. The ME agent looked at her screen for a second and said sure that shouldn't be a problem.

That would be an unusual exception. Most likely they did it because check in thought it she needed help with the children. If they allowed for people that just wanted to go directly to a park it would mess us their system. OP i would plan on just transfering at your resort you can also just leave your carry on with bell services if you room is not ready. DME luggage will appear in your room but you would have to call bell services to get your carry ons if you left them with bell services.

I agree, I don't' think that the answer is yes very often and in my instance most likely had to do with that fact that my sister would have been stuck alone with her four kids on the ME bus.
