I am going to be at a weekend conference in Orlando next spring. Since I am already planning on getting an Annual pass and TIW card for our big family June trip, I was thinking of coming down the day before and staying in a Disney value for one night with a couple of other attendees. This will give me a chance to purchase the AP and TIW so I don't waste precious time on our family trip while seeing some friends.
Conference transportation is from the airport. I know I can take ME to Disney but will they take me back to the airport the next day if my flight isn't until 3 days later? I will only have a carryon so I'm not worried about the baggage part just getting back to the airport the next afternoon.

Yes. Many people will tell you to find a "dummy" flight for the return DME trip

Yea, just make up something, look for flights on your airline that leave 2 hours after you would like to arrive. DME needs a reference to pick you up, but doesn't care what you do after you leave their bus. Or just call them and tell them what you're doing and they can arrange a pick up time.
