On departure days, how much in advance does the DME take you to the airport? 2-3 hours before your flight?

I am just wondering on how much I can fit in on my last day.

Thanks!

We were put on a 2:50 bus for a 5:30 flight.

I've found it's about 2 1/2 hrs before flight time.

Our pick up was 3 hours before - 11:50am for a 2:50p flight.

You should aim to be back at your resort an hour before the time on your Magical Express return to the airport as stated on the sheet put under your room door the day before.

Also be aware that it may take some time to get back your carry on baggage from the bellhop.

I carried my own bag to the ME check-out at POR and waited in line for 1.5 hours before I was checked in. The computer broke down and many people were missing their time to get on the bus.

Anyone who flies a participating airline may, on the way home, check their checked bags at the Resort Airline Check-in desk. The bags won't be seen again by the guest until it appears on the guest's home airport baggage claim carousel.

It seems foolish for people to remain in a long line at the RAC desk and miss their DME bus. Why risk mising your flight just to avoid handling your own bags??? If it were me, if my DME bus showed up I'd simply get out of the RAC line and bring my luggage to the bus. People who are not flying a participating airline must do this from the get-go because they don't have the option of using RAC.

I just want to make sure people realize that when you ARRIVE at Orlando, everyone on every airline can use the free automatic luggage delivery. It's only on the way home that airline matters, because it's only on the way home that RAC is involved.
