I check out of the resort at 11:00am, but my flight isn't till late evening. I believe the resort holds my checked luggage till I leave, but what about my carry on? Will I need to bring my carry on into the park with me that day?

No, you can leave your carry on with bell services and pick it up before your ME bus comes.

Bell Services doesn't make any distinction between luggage you'll check with the airline and luggage you will carry onto the aircraft with you. If you give it to them, they'll hold it for you.
