We are headed to SS for our first stay as DVC owners in November. Just received our Magical Express vouchers and found that only 2 luggage tags were enclosed (both in my name-none in husband's). Since we are flying Southwest we can take 2 bags each. Probably only taking 1 additional down. I am not sure who i would call to request an extra tag-would it be MS or is there a direct number I should call?:confused3
Thanks in advance!

They only send one for each person now. You can call member services and ask them to send you some extra ones. Since you are about a month away you should still get them in time.

Thank you both so much for the quick replies. Will call MS in the morning.
Have a great weekend!

In the back of that booklet is a number for Magical express just call them and tell them how many to send you. One trip I had called reservations thru Disney and they said I did not need.them on all items..:scared1:.well the luggage piece has never been found to this day:headache: so I want one on EACH item I am taking since that trip:cheer2:

I am talking about the yellow tags with resort and your name on them.

Just called MS this morning-tags are on the way. Last year on the way home we checked our carry-on bag so that we could just board the plane without any additional stuff (I always pack an empty bag in my luggage for return trip purchases) not that I expect to purchase that much:rotfl2:

The first time I received these tags I was also worried that they all had MY name on them. When I looked closer, the other individual names were under my name. I think they put the name of the person who made the reservation on all of them. Check and see if that is the case with yours. :thumbsup2

The names on the tags have nothing to do with the airline bag policy. The yellow tags are only used to route your luggage when it is processed at MCO. You can have the same name on all of the yellow tags.

:earsboy: Bill

Usually the tags have the name of the person booking the trip, then your name; and the other tag has the name of the person booking the trip, and your husband's name. Take a close look . . .

We have 4 rooms now. The DME tags were mailed to the lead name on each room. Our Grand Villa has 3 families so the lead person had to mail the tags to the other families in the room. The names of each occupant were printed under the name of the lead person. I had to order a second set of tags for golf clubs and car seats. In the end the tags for the 4 separate rooms got all mixed up. We have 21 people and it was a fiasco at the airport checking in all of that stuff. I was stressed worrying about everything getting to our rooms especially after the DME desk never asked about the number of DME bags. Miraculously everything made it just fine.

we just cut the tags in half, and use 2 tags for 4 bags. we've been doing it that way for years, and it works perectly (a SWA baggage handler told us to do it once).
btw, without any tag, you would still get your bag but would have to stop by the DME desk in MCO.
