Magical Express Pick Up Time?

Our flight out of MCO is 6:05pm. What time will we have to be back at the hotel for the Magical Express. My guess from our last use of ME is that we will have a 3:00pm pick up time. Is this correct? We want to make sure we can plan our day ahead so that we can squeeze as much Dis in as possible on our last day

Plan on 3 hours ahead of time. We had a 5:30pm flight last Saturday and had a 2:30pm ME pick up time. We did DTD that last morning and made sure we were back to the resort by 2:00pm.

The day before departure, you should get a packet hanging on your door. It will have all the information as to your bus time. The time given is FOR DEPARTURE of the bus, not when it will show up. There have been more and more reports of buses getting folks back to MCO later then normal because there have been stragglers and folks not ready to board the bus. Many times, you will just be out of luck as the driver wont wait for you, or isnt supposed to. If they do, it throws off the timing, and it can start to add up. You should be at the bus stop with everything you need, ready to walk on that bus, at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time. We usually show up closer to 30 minutes before, just because. If you need to retrieve bags from bell/luggage service, plan ahead for that as you can have a line there also.

My plan is to always to leave the park I am at an hour before my ME pick-up time, giving you time to get back fifteen minutes before your departure time.

We were there fifteen min early last time which worked well. Our bags will be in holding whicch makes things easier for us. We will prob head to whichever park we want to redo some rides or shows in.

Plan your day as if to be back at your resort an hour before your bus time.

You never know what might go wrong, for example someone needs a bathroom break on your way to the exit turnstiles. Or the waitress is slow bringing your credit card and slip to sign back to your table.

Last month our ME bus was so early that it was leaving the next resort at 2 which was our scheduled time. I think that you need to be ready to board your bus at least 20 minutes before the scheduled time.

If the driver has picked up all guests on the list then he may continue on.

Maybe you were actually on the "previous" bus that happened to have room for you.

Being at the platform 12-15 minutes before the printed time 'orta' be sufficient.
