magical express packet has arrived

We received our magical express packet today for our upcoming trp in August. We are very excited . Staying at the Wilderness Lodge.

Just got our today too....but didn't receive the luggage tags yet. Our flight info was incorrect on the tix we received; but when I called today, they told me to disregard the info on the tix b/c the info in their computer is correct.
Hope there are no problems with it!

We too got the Magical Express Mail. AA changed our flight number, so not it's different from the one registered on ME. I'm not too worried about it since we arrive midday.

Will they be sending anything else?

When I called Disney yesterday, they told me not to worry about it b/c it's right in their system....so they wouldn't be sending any corrections. Today I received the luggage tags and 2 separate mailings with the DE tickets & flight info. One of the books has incorrect flight info (not the same incorrect info as the one rec'd yesterday), and the other has the correct info. I think I'll just throw the others away so there is no confusion.....I really don't understand what happened, but at least they got one of them right!!!!
However.....my DD's fiance is coming along (different last name, obviously) ... and they have his first name with OUR last name. Yesterday I mentioned that to them as well & they said not to worry about it! Hopefully they won't kick him off the DE bus!!!!

Our trip is mid-August and we received ours this past week, so yours should be arriving. They usually send them out about a month before arrival.

Just FYI to anyone who isn't worried about not receiving their DME STUFF!!

I called DME today and apparently my reservation was never saved and we are leaving August 10th, in just 13 days! I know I booked it because I made a special call after we decided to fly instead of drive and I even recorded the name of the representative I spoke with, but it was never saved or made official! It was even on our My Disney Vacation profile/reservation, so I wasn't worried until we got past the 21 day mark and still had no information.

Thankfully, the agent I spoke to today was very helpful and understanding about the situation. She assured me that she was printing my information immediately and that I would receive it sometime this week or early next week and apologized for my inconvenience.

So I guess what I'm getting at is that sometimes you need to worry about not receiving your luggage tags and booklet because it could be more than just a mailing error.

Last year my daughter had to change planes (and airports) on the way down because the FAA grounded all the MD80s while she was driving to the airport. They had to put her on a bus to Ohare, then on flights on a different airline with a stopover somewhere else. She wound up arriving two hours later than she would have.

I called ME while she was in the air and told them of the last second change. No problem. Her luggage was waiting for her when she got to her room. They were super.

Hmm.

I just paid off our package earlier this week (probably, August 3rd) . . . we're supposed to arrive on September 8th, will we even get a packet? I mean, we booked our airfare through Expedia and our package through a travel agent . . . so far, the only Disney stuff I've booked directly were two ADR's.

We are counting on being able to take the Magic Express from the airport.

Anybody know when our packet will arrive, or even if we'll get one?
