Magical Express or town car

we always use TTC just wondering if magical express on time or do you do a lot of waiting with this service? like to make the most of our stay!

we went last week and waited 10 mins for bus and took us 35 mins to get to hotel. Almost took longer just to check into hotel. I highly recommend ME

The only time I have gotten to my resort faster using a towncar service rather than DME was the one time I had no checked luggage. I had only carry-on with me, so when the driver met us in the baggage claim area, we were able to just head out to wait for him to bring the car around. That trip took us about 45-50 minutes from deplaning to resort check-in. The times I have used DME, with checked luggage and without, it has taken 70 minutes or less. When I have had checked luggage and used a towncar service, it was about 60 minutes to the resort.
If I can save $120 by using DME, then I'm happy. Even if it took me a little bit longer to get to my resort it isn't a big deal. What's 15-20 minutes in the big picture!

We have not had the opportunity to try DME, but our first WDW trip we used Mears and since then, we have always used a TC.

I found the shuttle bus to be crowded and we had to make MANY stops at different resorts before reaching ours....very hard with 2 small kids (one with special needs).

On our next trip, we will be joined midweek by my 16 yr old stepson who will be flying in. We plan to have him use DME to join us at the resort (he will only have a carry on bag). Called WDW DME info. line and was told that if his dad takes taxi to airport, he can ride back to resort with son using DME.

Haven't tried ME. We have used Tiffany Town car for our last 5 trips to WDW and we absolutley love it. Berkely was the first driver we had and we request him every time. He is the greatest!!! I love the fact that we go directly from the airport to our Hotel. I couldn't tell you how long the drive actually takes, but it seems like we are there in no time. He is such an entertaining person, and fills us in on what's new in the area, asks us what we plan on doing during our stay, and chats with our DD's age 15 & 19 on how school is going etc. So the drive time just seems to pass so quickly. We also book with him for our return trip to the airport and he is always there a tad bit early, so we are confident in checking in for our return flight without a glitch.
