Magical Express / Magic Bands / MDE

IT has been a couple of years so this is my first trip with Magic Bands.
1. Do I use the MB to check in for Magical a express?
2. I added Magical Express after booking and have the email with flight numbers but isn't showing up withy reservation as it has in the past. I only have my hotel dining plan and tickets showing.

I've been over twenty times but MB and MDE / this FP+ nonsense are making me feel like a newbie! I'm an obsessive planner and this is too planned for me!

Yes, they will scan your MB when get to the DME checkin area, and again when you board the bus. It's actually very convenient. If you look at your resort reservation on MDE, it should show that you have DME booked.

Actually, we received DME vouchers and they scanned those instead of our Magic Bands. We were there the last full week of July. We were prepared for either alternative. I am curious what the procedure will be on our November trip.

Alternate things you can use to show you have reserved Magical Express in case the one they asked for first did not scan correctly:

1. Your Magic Band already linked to your upcoming resort stay, either directly or via My Disney Experience.
2. DME brochure and/or vouchers that go with it.
3. Vouchers printed at the welcoming are counter when they looked up your resort reservation.
4. Copy of your resort reservation with notation for DME as mailed to you.
5. Print screen of your DME reservation or resort reservation showing DME.
6. Envelope on the back of which you wrote down the names and cities of two reservationist CMs telephoned for the purpose of procuring #2, #3, or #4.

It's rare that you would end up showing #5 or #6 before you are on the DME bus.
