Magical Express Luggage Tags

i leave in about two weeks. I received my magic bands, but I haven’t received the luggage tags needed for Magical Express. When should I expect those? Perhaps I need to call.

You need to call to make sure you’re signed up for magical express.

Check the “sticky” thread on the Transportation forum for what to do if by chance the tags don’t come in time. You can still have luggage transported (assuming you’re arriving during the right hours). Just takes an extra step.

I would definitely call.
I always get my DME info in the mail well in advance.

Same, for the last several years. Some get them about 30 days out but I’ve gotten them months and months out for several trips. Funny little fluke.

DO NOT call the main Disney Reservation number.

DME is a separate entity and can actually solve your problem. CRO (main reservations) will only be able to take your flight into, fill out a form and forward it to DME.

I have called DME on a Saturday morning after realizing that I needed additional tags for a trip on Wednesday. I called DME directly and the fantastic CM was able to overnight the additional tags to me. They arrived on Monday. And I'm in Oregon - so a complete transverse of the country.

Did you look though the entire box your magic bands were delivered in? They are usually there but behind the packing.

That's not where the Magical Express tags are. The decorative luggage tags are what come in the box with magic bands (if you have a package booked).

You're just talking about the complimentary luggage tags that come if you book a vacation package.
That has nothing to do with the yellow luggage tags for DME that come in an envelop with info about your DME reservation.

Really? You are about the only one that has ever said that. Everyone else's comes in the letter with the instructions for their ME reservation. Did you get that separate or in the box too?

Yeah I don't even understand how its at all possible for that to have taken place.
Magic bands and DME info are not gathered together in the same place so how could they ship in the same box?
My guess is that poster was remembering incorrectly or simply does not want to admit it.

Just so you know, although you should have received your luggage tags, if you don't (as I didn't once), DME can still deal with your luggage like normal. Once we were going to drive, but at the last minute I had to fly. I juist wrote down the bag tag numbers from when I checked in at the airport, and gave them to DME when I checked in. From there, everything went as if I'd gotten DME bag tags, and a few hours later, luggage was in my room.
