I read on these boards instructions on how to get from airplane to ME counter in Orlando airport. They were very specific about what shuttles to take from say SW and what level you would be on and what level ME is on, how to turn at different times and so forth. Now that we are 10 days from leaving I cannot find what I need and hope someone can show me the link, or give me the instructions yourself. I am getting a little anxious about this trip. :grouphug:

Did you get the DME info packet, with the luggage tags? They are pretty good. As you may arrive at either Side A or Side B at MCO, you will need to get yourself to the middle of the airport. If you fly SW, you will arrive on Side A....take the tram, from the gate area, to the main terminal. Head to the center of the terminal. You will see big Side B neon signs up above you...head there. Now, this is what the info packet says....Upon disembarking the airport tram in the main Terminal, you will be on Level 3. Please proceed to the Disney Welcome Center located on the B side on Level 1. Simply put...once you are on Side B, on level 3, go to level 2 where baggage claim is, then keep going down to level 1. If you use the escalators, when you get off, at level 1, go right. The DME area is way down at the end of that level. You will pass the car rental areas. Keep right on trucking...you'll get there.
It's all very easy. My dh even managed to do it all by himself a few years ago...and he gets lost going to the mailbox!!!

I found it very helpful to go to the Orlando airport website. Several very good maps there, and also info on what gates service which airlines (so you'll know which "wing" you'll arrive in. They'll help get you oriented, so you know where escalators are, etc. Here's the link for the website

(For any airline) After you get off the tram and after you exit security ... (Pretend you passed under the football goal post and just a little ways onto the field) look to one side and you will see the big neon B a little above eye level. (Above the other sideline is the big neon A).

If you came into the cavernous Hyatt Hotel atrium (think of full field width but out to your 20 yard line), then the Magical Express welcoming area is, like, at the opposite 10 or 20 yard line. You can make the trek downfield before or after going down to level 1 on the B side. If you just came out of security directly into a shopping area, the welcoming area would be diagonally down and out more or less past the neon B if you had X-ray vision to see through the floor.

If you packed bags for self-pickup at the carousels (non-yellow tagged stuff you need right away) and your airline is an A-side airline, you would have to come back to the main level (level 3) and cross over to the B side. It's like going between the opposite grandstands, crossing the football field.

Thanks guys for the help. I told my husband I would find the information for him and he could study it. I am directionally challenged. I can get lost anywhere, and he is never lost. Thanks again.
