Magical Express - How does it work

This year we are travelling with Complete Orlando and have Magical Express as part of our package.

I understand that as international visitors we need to claim our baggage and then take it to the Magical Express centre -(or should I say Center as we are in the USA by this time!) It says it will then be delivered to your resort within 4 hours.

So to clarify....

Normally our bags have been loaded on to the same coach that drops us off - do they now make a seperate journey?

Do the ME coaches take you to your hotel? If so - why don't we just take our bags to be loaded on the same coach as us?

Has anyone used the ME - what have their experiences been?

Personally I like to get to the resort, check in and get changed after such a long flight - seems tricky if our bags will not be there till much later...

I feel somewhat confused - help!

Yes they do.When you go to Magical Express Centre Disney will collect your bags and deliver to your room about 3-4 hours later.You can also bring your bags with you to bus if you like and take them with you to hotel.

As with previous answer you can take them with you if you like.Lots of people do this if they need there bags to change etc as soon as they arrive at there room.

Used it on trip i just came back from yesterday for 1st time.Found it to be brillant.We let Disney collect our bags and they were in our room 3.5 hours later.Just got off plane and strolled bag free to counter and it was great not having to drag bags around as MCO is very large and can be long walk to Magical Express counter.
