Okay, I am stumped and hope someone can help me...

I booked our WDW stay at the CBR a little while ago and added Magical Express but didn't know our flight information yet so left that blank. We finally booked the flight and I wanted to add the info to our reservation but can't find where to add it?

If someone could point me in the right direction I would very much appreciate it!

I've normally had to call DME and have them add the information to my existing reservation.

From the Disney World website for DME: (407) 939-6244

You can find all the information regarding ME, including the phone number for reservations, on the Transportation Board.

Your incoming flight is not an issue, they just need to know you are arriving that day.

Your outgoing flight is the issue, because it will base your bus departure time. I have waited to add that when I arrive.

Thanks for the info! I did see the phone number but would rather avoid calling as we live overseas and I don't want to be on hold for an extended period of time as it could get expensive...

The FAQ did say ME could be updated online but when I clicked on the link it didn't really go anywhere helpful so I think you may be right and it can't be added without calling.

However, we will only use ME on the way TO the resort (as we are staying in Florida longer) - is it really not necessary to add the info in that case? Don't I need some sort of sticker/tag for the suitcases? We didn't use ME on our last trip so I don't quite remember how it works...

Yes, you will need a reservation, but you won't need to supply flight info, if you are only using it for arrival.

You will get an entire booklet, but you will only use the one transportation voucher and the tags for your bags.

The new website update has not been as friendly as it should be; people have been having issues with it.

Things are a little different for international travelers. I assume when you say you're living overseas, that means you'll be flying in to MCO from a location outside of the US. In that case, you still have go through customs and claim your luggage yourself. When you get to the DME counter, they'll take your luggage and have it transferred to your resort. So I think as long as you have a DME reservation you'll be fine because you don't need the luggage tags.

Yeah, I've seen on the site where it says you can update your DME info online, but I've never actually managed to figure out how. I know you can make a DME reservation on line, but I haven't figured out how to update one yet.

Actually, our flight isn't direct so we will have to go through immigration in Charlotte and our incoming flight to MCO should be treated the same as a regular one.

The tags do make it easier but aren't strictly necessary. If you do not receive the tags in time just provide the DME desk at MCO with your baggage claim slips and they will make sure your luggage gets to your room.
