Magical Express for Luggage Service

Do you have to ride Magical Express to get the luggage service? We are renting a car and want to rush to the parks without having to wait for luggage. I know it may sound strange but my wife takes advantage of the 50lb weight limit and the number of bags (family of 6).Is that acceptable? Has anyone done this before?
