Yes, you are eligible. Either contact the DVC member you are renting from to make the arrangements for you or you can call Member Services and do it yourself (I'm assuming you have your reservation number). I've rented my points out this year and several of my renters are using ME. Have a great trip!

I would save time and just call ME directly 866-599-8951. Then U will be assured your reservation is correct. I say this as I received 5 ME packets for my trip and I only needed 1 way -- to the resort.
