Has anyone had the situation that you have a family of 5 on one reservation (at disney) but are arriving on two different flights and two different days? Just wondered how to handle ME. Is it as simple as just giving the flight information and getting different tags?

You will not get separate tags...the flight info doesn't really matter. The lead person on the resort reservation will get the entire DME packet, with vouchers and luggage tags. It is up to that person to disburse the vouchers and tags to the others.
If you will have people arriving on different flights, get the luggage tags to them prior to departure. They can then tag their bags...DME will then take them to the resort.
Depending on flight arrival times, you may want to hold onto the vouchers, or hand them over to those on the other flight before leaving home. If the flights arrive close to the same time, you can arrange to meet up in the DME area, then go to the buses together.

Our flights won't be close, in fact the will be a day apart. That won't make a difference?

We fly in separately all the time (many times days apart). List the first flight in when arranging the Magical Express.

Thank you. We go to Disney about every 6 months, however we have never arrived separately. As the kids get older we are dealing with different school schedules, commitments and still trying to arrive to keep our free dining. Thus the two different arrival days :(

Nope, won't be an issue at all. My dh consistently arrives a day later than I do...he uses DME with no problems.
Just be sure that everyone has the tags for their bags, otherwise, they will have to go to baggage claim.
And if, for some reason, you don't get them the bus vouchers (that come in the packet), they can just go to the DME counter and get new ones made up...they will have to show ID though.

Thank you so much for you help.
