Magical Express/Car Hire query

I just booked our flights yesterday - we're heading out next Easter with extended family. My job (I'm a teacher) means I'm stuck to school holidays and the rest of the family have chosen to fly a couple of days earlier to save costs. The villa they've booked covers their 2 weeks. This means we'll have two days at the end of the holiday without the rest of the family and I've just booked us into the Art of Animation.

Thinking about saving costs ... could I return my car to the airport on our last villa day and get the magical express back to Disney and then use magical express to take us back to the airport for our flight home? Have never used Magical Express before and have no idea how it works.

Any recommendations for good reliable car hire? It's a while since I've booked independently.

why dont you drop off car at one of the Disney hire places,That way you don't have to travel back from the airport and you can use ME to get to the airport(remember to book in advance for ME best do when you check in)
