Magical express at night?

We got ahead of ourselves this morning and booked the Food and wine late night LIVE event on our arrival day without considering the logistics... Our flights lands at 9:05 PM and the event is from 9:45 to 1:00AM.

So, I'm thinking between the time it takes to wait for the magical express to Coronado Spring resort, the drive and quick C/I without going to the room and then the wait for the bus and such I was hoping to be there by 11:30 PM...

Does it sounds about right? Does the ME runs as frequently at 9PM as during the day or can we expect a very long wait?

Also, would it be easier to take a cab to Epcot? Can they let us out close to the entrance gate or do we have to wait for the tramway for there?

DME runs 24 hours a day, well at least till all the inbound planes have landed for the day at MCO.

The buses leave when they reach capacity or after some wait time which ever come first. I've hear its like 45 minutes and the times I've gotten in around midnight it seems to be about right.

It's $79 a person and you are going to miss most of it. If your flight is late, you could miss all of it. Could you reschedule?

I would take a cab to the Beach Club, you can enter through the International Gateway.

Thank you for the input. We can't reschedule as we are getting there late evening on Thursday and flying out early on Tuesday morning.
I think this is a great idea to take a cab to the beach club. That way we can have an easy walk to the International Gateway.

We knew getting in that we were going to get in late but we had not figured out we would get in THAT late. As they announced that event very last minute and we learned about it while trying to book yesterday we did not think about the logistics too much and just booked it.
