Magical Express and flying in night before

I know this has been asked before but I cant find any links... We currently have ressies at BC for a Saturday to Saturday in January. I am thinking about changing our flights to the Friday night before and staying off property. If we stay Friday night off property can we still use ME? I know we will have to collect our bags ourselves for that Friday night but how do we reserve our spots the next AM on ME? TIA

We're flying in late on Friday, December 12th and staying at the Hyatt at MCO. Our Disney reservation starts the 13th. When I set up DME, I gave them the first Delta flight into MCO on the 13th as my arrival flight, rather than the one we're actually on on the 12th.

It doesn't really matter. It is not necessary to come up with a dummy flight just to use DME. They don't really care when you get there. The time we stayed at the Hyatt, we were down at the DME desk around 0700 and there were only 6 of us on the whole big bus. We were able to drop our luggage off at POFQ and made it to rope drop at the MK.

I second the PP's comment. No need to make up a dummy flight. Just tell DME what time you think you'll get to the airport the next morning.
