Why is Disney so difficult? All I wanted to do was change my dates. I went through the steps online and even got an email that the process was complete and old dates are showing in MDE. Online modify button is gone so I call the number listed there and they cant help. That number was the technical help. They said to call reservations. They also could not help because they are doing magical enhancements. (In other words, the system is broke today.) The last CM I spoke to recommended calling back later today or tomorrow. It took about 30 seconds to change the universal hotel reservation we have.

Disney's IT sucks. It always has. It is embarrassingly bad for a company with their kind of money. I'm sorry you got caught up in their incompetence.

Yes it really stinks. I called back at 2PM and waited on hold 30 minutes. Finally got help from guest services who was showing the reservation canceled on their end. Got it rebooked and she trasnfered the deposit. There is no reservation showing on MDE now. I'm going to wait 24 hours and see if it updates. I do have an email with a new reservation number.

Hmmm, wondering if “magical enhancements” is code for a new promo? I recall that booking was down the afternoon before they released free dining this year.

Sorry. Wonder why you can't get the changes done?
I've been changing mine online for the past hour, making a VERY quick trip down for the opening of Mickey's Railroad and keep looking for the least expensive options for both a very late night arrival and then 2 nights in an Epcot area resort.
I did changes for both stays online, just finishing confirming the 2nd one. All done the past couple of hours. So no enhancements found here. I did mange to change rooms and save about $500 by switching room options, so that's good when it wasn't a planned trip in the first place. LOL

The enhancements were happening early in the day. I called at 10 am and they couldn't help. I did the online chat at 1230 and asked if the system was back and it wasn't. Finally got it fixed at 3PM! I've been messing with this trip since Saturday because DH couldn't get the dates we wanted originally for vacation. I had already canceled the original trip then booked a new trip. And our dates are right at the 180 mark which added to the fun. In the end we have the dates we need and are staying at AKL. By changing the dates, we were able to book the summer discount and it was just $200 more total over CBR with no discount. So all is well and I promised myself I am not fiddling with the trip anymore!!
