This was our first family trip to Walt Disney World. We went for my DD 4th b-day and we couldn't have asked for a more magical time!!! We won 3 dreams during the time we were there:
1.) Back-stage guided tour through Soarin'. They announced my DD name to everyone and wished her a happy birthday and put us to the front of the line.
2.) DD and DS were chosen to be the "prince" and "princess" to start the line going into Fantasmic. They even got little certificates.
3.) We all got YOMD pin lanyards getting into line at the train ride in Animal Kingdom in Africa.
And the greatest thing ever happened to my daughter, not sure if it is considered a dream or not though, but it certainly was to us!! The second day we were there we visited Ariel in her grotto (my daughter's FAVORITE princess). She was really very sweet to both my dd and ds (2). The next day, the same Ariel was at Akershus lunch in Norway (w/ her "legs" on). She remembered both of the kids and talked extensively with my daughter about favorite rides, etc. She then left and about 10 mins later came back to our table and asked us if we were going to the Pirate and princess Party the next night. We said we were and she said "Great! Meet me at the exit of my grotto at 8:30 SHARP". We then proceeded to tell Ariel that it was my daughter's 4th birthday the night of the P&PP. She was thrilled. We were so excited, especially my daughter. So the next night, we did as we were told. A few CM's came out to the exit and asked if this was Alexa's party (my daughter). We said yes, and they gave us some beads and led us into the grotto. Ariel and Prince Eric were there waiting for us. The line had been stopped and no one could see in. Ariel gave a bunch of presents to my DD!! She gave her an Ariel jewelry/music box, wand, crown, a personal card written by Ariel, an Ariel purse and a few other things I can't remember. She also didn't forget my son and Prince Eric gave him a cool pirates hat, sword, coloring book and crayons. She sat there and talked to my daughter for a good 15 minutes. I cannot explain to you how amazing this was, it brought tears to my eyes!!! What better gift to a 4yr old little girl on her birthday than to get her own private meet and greet from her Favorite Princess??!!!
WDW is really a place were dreams come true!!
