Magical Deal at the Poly for 2015

Is there something you need to add into the request when asking about a reservation? I had asked about my upcoming May trip and the TA quoted me the same price I was getting on the Disney website. Am I missing something?

The deals are not offered every week of the year. The dates offered for May of 2015 are May 2 - 11 and May 23 to June 6th -- listed as Spring Agency Exclusives. If you are being quoted the same price as Disney is offering, it is probably that your dates do not fall within the Agency Exclusive dates.

I think the agency exclusive deals are only for certain dates throughout the year. I just looked at an email I got from my agent last month and they have deals May 2-11 and May 23-June 6. Maybe your quote is the same as Disney's because it doesn't fall within the previously mentioned dates? We are traveling June 27-July 6 and used this agency to book a split stay between the BC and Poly. The rate is great but not near as great as what it would've been had I been able to travel later in August but I'm a :teacher:.

Thank you! That was exactly the problem. It may be worth bumping the trip up a week

I have a second trip booked for the week after Thanksgiving next year. Because we're a family of six (and our youngest will be three next year), the only reasonable option for us has been to rent DVC points. My husband loves AKL, so that's where we stay when he goes. He asks for nothing when it comes to vacation - he leaves it to me to choose when we go, how long we stay, what parks we hit. The only thing that matters to him is where we stay, so I always pick AKL (and I love the place, so it's not exactly a tough decision). We'd have to rent a 2 BR next year. With the agency exclusive, we were able to book two rooms, savannah view, for about $400 less than it would cost to rent DVC points. On the one hand, I love having the laundry facilities in the room and the extra space. On the other hand, $400 can cover a lot of laundry and cancellation, if we need to, is a piece of cake. Our dates are November 27-December 4. Two rooms at AKL, savannah view, came to $4200. Best discount I've had from WDW is still a couple hundred more than that.

I wanted to add dining as well and was told not available. Still a great deal. I'm totally new at this. So if Disney ends up offering free dining in September would it be available to add to this package or not?

You can switch packages after you have booked with them. So say you book with the quote they gave you for no dining plan. Dining plan comes out and you want it, contact your agent and they will change your package. Only one discount is allowed. So either free dining or agency exclusive!

That's a fantastic deal is that with tickets for your family of 6. WOW maybe I should have asked about AKL for our trip.

That does not include tickets, just the room. AKL used to be reasonable for disney standards, I suppose because of its more remote location. But the prices seem to have come close to what the other deluxes charge. Rack rate for those rooms was about $6800, if I'm remembering correctly.

I just booked the agency Labor Day deal for last week in August! So excited to be able to stay at wilderness lodge!

How long did it take most people to receive a quote. It's been a week since I filled out the request a quote form. I received an automated response immediately saying they would be in touch. But I haven't heard anything.

anybody book anything in Oct 2015 under this deal?

I originally booked for Oct 2015 using their Halloween deal. 9 nights with 8 day park hopper tickets (8 is the max tickets they offer with this deal) was $3376 for me in a standard vieW room. After finding my recent Oct visit too crowded and F&W underwhelming, I switched it to an early December stay, for the same price, as I adore their Christmas decorations.

I received da quote the same day.. Within a few hours... I actually had 3 different people contact me since I filled out the request a few times on accident.... It should be pretty quick..

I booked a January stay and the woman was very responsive. About a week later, I inquired about an August stay, in addition. She didn't respond. I emailed again. No response. Weird.

If I email again I will put it out to any travel agent at the company.

Are you emailing direct our using the quote form? I know sometimes there are some spam filter issues with the quote form.... You can reach the agent direct with name@agency name. Com

Heard back after I sent a 2nd request. With awesome rates for Polynesian and Yacht and Beach Club. Good rates for GF, and WL. UGH now it's decision time. Checking into Yacht Club tomorrow so I'm going to see if I fall in love there. But I'm leaning towards my first stay at the Polynesian next August.

I booked a great deal at BWI because of this thread. I will use this agency for every trip.

Can someone please PM me the name of this agency. Sounds great, I would love to get a quote for an upcoming trip. Thanks in advance.

Just Google "Walt Disney World Agency Exclusive" - you'll know the Magical deal when you see the results... :)
