Magical Beginnings?

Has anyone participated in Magical Beginnings? Was it crowded? When they say for families with younger children- what exactly does that mean? We're a family of 5, kids ranging in age from 2 to 12. Would it be a problem for us to do this?

Magical Beginnings is new this fall. All resort guests can participate in Magical Beginnings (the extra Fantasyland hour, the shows at MGM, etc.) regardless of whether they have young kids or not.

ADMISSION: The Little Ones Magic Hour will allow those staying at Walt Disney World owned and operated resorts, as well as the Walt Disney World Swan, Walt Disney World Dolphin, Shades of Green, and The Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort, to enter Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom Park one hour prior to regularly scheduled park opening to enjoy select Fantasyland attractions. Valid theme park ticket and resort ID are required. To enjoy the Little Ones Magic Hour benefit, guests whose tickets do not have the Park Hopper option can only visit the park offering the Little Ones Magic Hour benefit that day.

SCHEDULE: Offered Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings August 13 through September 30, 2006.

Sundays: 8/13, 8/20, 8/27, 9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24
Wednesdays: 8/16, 8/23, 8/30, 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27
Fridays: 8/18, 8/25, 9/1, 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29

Our DS7 had a FABULOUS time at Magical Beginnings at MK yesterday. He actually got to ride on Peter Pan's Flight WITH PETER PAN and on the tea cups WITH MAD HATTER. I'm not talking on the same ride--I'm talking sitting right next to the character for one on one time! He also played a round of hide and seek with Tigger and Piglet over at the Pooh playground. There were characters everywhere for pictures. Our day couldn't have possibly started any better--and it wasn't crowded at all since it isn't advertised very well (of course all us Disers know!).

I somehow got into magical beginnings at MK on Sunday with my brother (Im 25 and he is 20). Though I have a 3yo at home, we had no kids with us, or for that matter, near us. We just walked up with our passes in hand and we were let in (we didnt actually realize it was MB until we got inside to find out that only Fantasy Land was open. From the looks of it, MB looks like a great idea. We were in the park at about 8:20am and walked onto IASW and then in Philharmagic. The other area rides had lines ranging from 5-20 mins. The other nice thing in that your are in good position to get to the other lands when they open.

MB sounds really neat-I can't wait to experience it next week. The interaction with the characters and some of them riding the rides sounds so neat. I wonder if Alice ever rides the teacups? We have a Disneyland Sing A Long video which shows Alice riding the teacups and my daughter keeps saying she wants to ride the teacups with Alice. She would love it.
