Magical Beginnings for Toddlers

What is Magical Beginnings for Toddlers? Do they do this all the time or only during certain parts of the year? What would I have to do to participate?? Thankyou in advance for anyone that can help me out with this.

Experience Fantasyland comes to life with extra ‘character’ during the Little Ones Magic Hour at the Magic Kingdom park. It's all part of Magical Beginnings and it’s all about making those extra special memories for years to come.

Playhouse Disney in-Concert:

Playhouse Disney in-Concert will showcase zany performances with entertainment for the preschool set. Youngsters can dance and sing along with Disney Channel favorites The Doodlebops; Johnny and the Sprites, featuring Johnny Tartaglia; Imagination Movers; and Dan Zanes and friends -- all scheduled to appear during the nine-week travel time.

All Playhouse Disney in Concert performers, dates, and times are subject to change without notice.

Admission is included with valid Theme Park ticket.

A limited number of FastPass tickets will be distributed for that day's concert starting at 9:00 am. This single distribution will be for all show times that day. One valid theme park admission is required for each concert FastPass, although each admission holder need not be present.

A Stand-by line will be available outside the concert venue. The stand-by line does not guarantee admission to any show time nor the concert as-a-whole

Little Ones Magic Hour:

During the Little Ones Magic Hour Disney resort guests and their youngsters are able to explore softer attractions such as "it's a small world," Mad Tea Party, Peter Pan's Flight and Pooh's Playful Spot playground. During this bonus hour in, wee ones can play ball with Goofy, enjoy "Peter Says" with Peter Pan, participate in other games and activities and even experience classic Fantasyland attractions with characters.

Similar to the Extra Magic Hours program, only Guests of Disney Owned resorts, the Swan & Dolphin Resorts, Shades of Green, and the Hilton at Lake Buena Vista are eligible to participate in the Little Ones Magic Hour.

Each Guest must present a valid resort ID at the park's turnstiles. Only the Fantasyland section of the park is open to Guests during the Little Ones Magic Hour.

Additionally, a valid Theme park ticket is required. If you are vacationing with a Magic Your Way Base Ticket your Theme Park selection must be The Magic Kingdom if you wish to attend the Little Ones Magic Hour. A base pass only allows you to visit one Theme Park per day. If you want to visit another theme park on the same day as the Little Ones Magic Hour you must add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket.

this sounds almost to good to be true. . .

so Magical Beginings is scheduled for Sept 19 and 21 (for dates we will be in town)

does this mean the park is not open for regular Extra Morning Hour for other attractions? Like I have a note in my notes here that tells me EMH for MK are on Sept 20th?

and I guess how do I tell if the Magical Beg. is at MK or MGM (not interested in MGM one)

am I reading right over the info I'm searching for?

The Magical Beginnings hour at MK is just Fantasyland open an extra hour early and kids can play w/characters (no autographs and pics) like follow the leader, bouncing a ball, etc. or ride rides w/characters. It is very magical and spontaneous. During regular morning EMH most attractions are open and there is not the character interaction in Fantasyland. There are also concerts at Disney Studios w/several Playhouse Disney performers. Those are also excellent and worth the trouble to see.

There are two schedules above -- one for the Little Ones magic hours in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom and the other is the concert dates at Disney Studios. Read it through again and consider doing as much as your schedule allows -- it is wonderful to see toddlers play with their favorite characters or see their Playhouse Disney performers LIVE!!!!

We did this last year and it was great...Johnny and the Sprites live was fantastic. I'm so disappointed that we got Doodlebops during our dates this year. I REALLY don't like the Doodlebops...luckily DD doesn't like them either so she won't be upset if we skip it.

I believe any age is allowed in. It is just more geared toward the little ones.
