Does anyone know if when using the meal vouchers in the Magic Your Way with Meals if you order off the whole menu or is it restricted?

You are restricted to the participating restaurants.

Children 9 & under must order off of the children's menu when one is available.

Alcoholic drinks are not included.

You cannot "save" portions of a meal option for a later time. In other words: If you're at a sitdown meal, you get appetizer, entrée, dessert and beverage. You cannot postpone any of those courses for a later time...they must all be used in that one meal.

Certain appetizers and desserts that are meant to be consumed by more than one person (such as the Antipasto All'Italiano at Alfredo's) cannot be ordered as a single appetizer but might be used as multiple appetizers for a group at the discretion of the restaurant management.

You order off the whole menu from the listed restuarants. and kids from the kids menu. I just downloaded the "info" from disneyworld.com. It seems like it is most of the restaurants just not the extra expensive ones and it is only 2 meals a day, not 3.

Not sure if you would save money but it's nice to know that that part of the trip is prepaid and I think it comes close to what we usually pay given our last vacation. It's always hard for me to budget for food. We tried to get the meal plan but it is not offered with the land/sea package right now. If that changes, we will take it.

this is a somewhat related question:
When dining at ohana, or whispering canyon, does the meal plan include an appetizer and dessert, or do you get what you get with the all you can eat option? For instance, i know ohana comes with pineapple and caramel sauce for dessert, but can you order off the dessert menu as well and still use your dining package? That looks fabulous to me, but some of the other desserts look better to dh. at whispering canyon if you get the skillet, can you also get an appetizer and dessert, or is the all you can eat option all you get?

Herre is what the printout about the meal plan states:

They consider Ohana Table service which is 1 appetizer, 1 entree, 1 dessert, 1 non-alc bev

OR

1 full buffet, 1 non-alc bev

So, I guess it could go either way here. :confused3 YOu may have to call first.

Good luck

From another obsessive compulsive trip planner (you should see our tour book collection!)

Thank you, RichNKatHolly! That is just the info i was looking for, can you point me in the direction of that online?

i assume the rules would be the same for the other all you can handle places.
